Please join us for an entertaining and educational cabaret style show that combines the stories of the actors’ experience of mental illness/substance abuse with stories of healing.

The show will highlight issues related to substance abuse/dependence, bipolar disorder, major depression, OCD, PTSD, family dysfunction, suicide, mental illness statistics and suicide statistics in an effort to reduce the stigma of mental illness.

The 7th Annual Steps Against Stigma Walk will be 

September 30, 2017

Pioneer Park starting at 10 a.m.

NAMI Northern Kentucky and the Northern Kentucky Crisis Intervention Team are partnering to sponsor this year’s walk.

Each fall, members of the community commemorate World Health Month taking steps in advocacy to promote metal health education and support and to bring an end to the social stigma placed upon individuals living with mental illness.

The event will include walking along the park’s designated trail, a picnic lunch and a gift basket raffle.  This year, walk proceeds will go to support programs and services provided by NAMI Northern Kentucky and the Northern Kentucky Crisis Intervention Team.
